Lorenzo provides a range of complimentary design and consultancy services including structural form-finding, geometrical optimization and digital fabrication. The practice is based in central London.
He is passionate about performance-driven design, materials, robotics and have been developing skills in coding bespoke digital tools.
Lorenzo graduated in architecture in Italy in 2005 and deepened his research in computational design, attending the DRL programme at the AA School of Architecture from 2009 to 2011.
His architectural experience matured while working at Foster+Partners, OMA, UNStudio and Studio Fuksas among other firms. He has been involved in any sort of scale projects throughout the UK and internationally for both public and private sector clients.
Lorenzo has been an educator, currently working at the AA School of Architecture and Inchbald. He have been lecturing at conferences and seminars in Europe.
The constant evolving of people’s needs makes me prioritizing innovative design solutions. These give the opportunity to fulfill the present, but also the future definitions of physical and spiritual well-being. In this respect, Lorenzo applies cutting-edge design strategies and complex digital tools in the process of the project design. One of the peculiar architectural themes of his research is adaptive systems. The introduction of evolving variations leads to greater adaptability to the climate and social articulation of space usability. The design of buildings responsive to users’ and environmental dynamic conditions, in conjunction with digital fabrication techniques, makes this theme a possible novel approach to quality design. The quest for improving the standard of living through innovative ideas and technologies is vital in Lorenzo’s architectural agenda.
